How to troubleshoot the Dexcom <> Levels API connection

Fix #1: Disconnect then reconnect the Dexcom and Levels connection

  1. Visit levels.link/DEXCOM and login first with your Levels account, then with your Dexcom account.
  2. Disconnect the API connection.
  3. Refresh the page.
  4. Reauthorize the Levels app to access your glucose data from Dexcom.
  5. Once the access is granted and your sensor has warmed up, you can use the Levels app to view your data.

Fix #2: Toggle the sharing setting off and then on again; this often helps reset the connection between apps

First, force close and restart the Dexcom G6 app. Some members have reported this fixing the data sync issue between the Dexcom app and Levels app.

  1. Enable the Sharing setting - you may be asked to request a follower (or personal address) before this toggle appears.

  2. Log into https://myaccount.dexcom.com/
  3. Tap on the View and Edit button for Levels under the Third Party Applications section
  4. Uncheck the Share Data checkbox from and Confirm - This should remove the Levels connection from Dexcom's side.
  5. Afterward, you should be able to re-establish a new connection via levels.link/DEXCOM
