Getting Started with Levels Through a Practitioner

If you're starting Levels through a healthcare practitioner, nutritionist, or health coach, your experience will be slightly different from a direct membership.

How practitioner partnerships work

Your practitioner has partnered with Levels to offer continuous glucose monitoring and metabolic health tracking as part of your care. They'll be able to see your health data and use it to provide you with personalized guidance.

Getting started with a practitioner account

1. You'll receive an invitation
Your practitioner will send you an invitation to join Levels through their practice. This invitation will include a link to create your account.

2. Create your account
Click the link in your invitation and follow the prompts to create your Levels account. You'll use this email and password to log into the Levels app.

3. Your practitioner handles logistics
Depending on how your practitioner has set up the partnership, they may:

  • Send you sensors directly
  • Maintain sensors at their office
  • Have Levels ship sensors to you

Your practitioner will let you know what to expect for sensor delivery.

4. Download the app and set up your sensor
Download the Levels app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android) and log in with the account you created. The app will guide you through sensor setup.

What your practitioner can see

When you're using Levels through a practitioner account, they have access to:

  • Your continuous glucose monitoring data
  • Meals and activities you log in the app
  • Your glucose patterns and trends
  • Lab results (if you've done labs through Levels or uploaded past results)

This allows them to provide more informed guidance based on your real-time metabolic data.

How this differs from a direct membership

Practitioner-led accounts:

  • Your practitioner can view your data and provide guidance
  • Billing and membership details are typically handled through your practitioner's practice
  • Your practitioner may provide sensors or coordinate sensor delivery

Direct Levels memberships:

  • You manage your own account and membership
  • Levels clinician reviews (for Core and Complete) are separate from your practitioner relationship
  • All sensors ship directly from Levels
