How to Get Dexcom G7 Through Levels

Overview

Levels now supports a prescription facilitation pathway for the Dexcom G7. This allows you to get a G7 prescription through Levels' physician partners and purchase your sensors through Amazon Pharmacy — either using insurance or paying out of pocket.

How It Works

  1. Complete the medical intake — Head to your Shop page in the Member Portal and follow the steps to complete the medical intake form.
  2. Physician review — Your intake is independently reviewed by one of our physician partners. If approved, a prescription is issued on your behalf.
  3. Prescription transferred to pharmacy — Your prescription is sent to Amazon Pharmacy. You'll receive a notification when it's ready.
  4. Purchase your sensors — Log in to Amazon Pharmacy (or your chosen pharmacy) and purchase your Dexcom G7. You can use insurance or pay the cash price.
  5. Connect to Levels — Once you have your G7 sensor, connect your Dexcom account in the Levels app through Settings → Devices.

Pricing

  • The current cash price on Amazon Pharmacy is approximately $177 for a month's supply (three 10-day sensors): View on Amazon Pharmacy
  • If you have insurance, your out-of-pocket cost may be lower (or even $0) depending on your plan and coverage.
  • Amazon Pharmacy accepts HSA/FSA payments.
  • You can also enable auto-refills through Amazon Pharmacy for convenience.

Transferring Your Prescription

You're welcome to transfer your prescription to any pharmacy at any time. Simply contact your preferred pharmacy and provide them with the prescription details from Amazon Pharmacy (or wherever it was originally sent).

About the Data Delay

When using Dexcom G7 with Levels, your glucose data appears in the Levels app with approximately a ~1 hour delay. This is a significant improvement over the ~3-hour delay when syncing through Apple Health or Health Connect.

You'll still see your real-time glucose readings directly in the Dexcom G7 app — the delay only applies to when the data appears in Levels.

Important Notes

  • The sensor purchase goes directly through the pharmacy — Levels does not charge you for or fulfill G7 sensors.
  • Your Levels membership remains the same regardless of which sensor you use.
  • The prescription pathway is an independent medical evaluation — approval is at the discretion of the reviewing physician.
