How do I replace my Dexcom CGM before it expires?
Answer:
If your current sensor hasn't expired yet and you'd like to replace it with a new one, follow these steps:
- Open the Dexcom G6 app
- Scroll down and select "Settings"
- Select "Stop Sensor"
- Select "Yes"
- After ending the session, you will be taken to the home screen, where you will see a "New Sensor" option.
- Wait at least 20 minutes before applying the next sensor. Then, please select "New Sensor" and follow the on-screen steps.
