What should I do if my Dexcom sensor comes off or I need to take it off before it expires?


Answer:

If your current sensor hasn't expired yet and it comes off or you need to replace it with a new one, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Dexcom G7 app
  2. Tap "Connections" in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen
  3. Tap "Sensor" at the top of the screen
  4. Tap "Stop Sensor Session"
  5. After ending the session, you will be taken to the home screen, where you will see a "New Sensor" option.
  6. Wait at least 20 minutes before applying the next sensor. Then, please select "New Sensor" and follow the on-screen steps.
