What should I do if my Dexcom sensor comes off or I need to take it off before it expires?
Answer:
If your current sensor hasn't expired yet and it comes off or you need to replace it with a new one, follow these steps:
- Open the Dexcom G7 app
- Tap "Connections" in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen
- Tap "Sensor" at the top of the screen
- Tap "Stop Sensor Session"
- After ending the session, you will be taken to the home screen, where you will see a "New Sensor" option.
- Wait at least 20 minutes before applying the next sensor. Then, please select "New Sensor" and follow the on-screen steps.
