Troubleshooting the Dexcom G7 <> Levels Connection
This article goes over how to troubleshoot your Dexcm G7 <> Levels connection.
When setting up your Dexcom G7, you may notice that your Levels app is not immediately pulling in the data from Dexcom G7. There is one common issue that can cause this problem:
Issue: Your mobile number is set up as your User ID.
Step 1. Identify Your User ID in the Dexcom G7 App
- Open the Dexcom G7 app.
- Go to Profile in the Dexcom G7 app.
- Select Account and locate your user ID (could be email or mobile number).
- Note that for Levels, if your user ID is your mobile number, you must use it to connect Dexcom and Levels
Step 2. Navigate to Levels App
- Open the Levels app.
- Tap on the More tab located on the bottom menu.
- Tap Devices.
- Select Manage and select “Disconnect Dexcom” if the option is available.
- If you don't see this option, tap “Connect Dexcom Account” and proceed to Step 4.
Step 3. Remove data connection
- Tap the sentence, "Remove data connection to Levels"
Step 4. Reconnect Dexcom and Levels
- Tap Connect
- Enter your email address and password.
- If your mobile number is your user ID, select the option "Signed up with mobile phone?" to log in.
- Tap Log In
