💡 Overview: Habit Loops is an in-app feature that allows members to customize targets, track more nutritional habits, like protein and fiber intake, monitor weekly metrics, and track progress over time.

Currently, Habit Loops includes tracking of 9 key habits that contribute to optimal metabolic health. 

  • 👣 Steps: Frequent movement throughout the day—especially after meals—is key to stable glucose. Use this habit loop to motivate yourself to get up and get moving.
  • 🏋️ Exercise: Any type of exercise improves insulin sensitivity and overall health. Use this habit loop to work towards exercising every day, even at low intensity.
  • 🛏️ Sleep: Low or poor-quality sleep impacts glucose the next day, and can increase cravings and stress. Use this habit loop to strive for 7-8 hours of good sleep a night.
  • 🍗 Total Protein: Getting enough protein is vital for boosting satiety, stabilizing blood sugar, and supporting metabolic health. Use this habit loop to track towards your daily quota.
  • 🥗 Total Fiber: Fiber plays key roles in gut health and blood sugar. Use this habit loop to track towards your daily fiber target.
  • 💪Strenuous workouts: Workouts that push your heart rate, like HIIT and CrossFit, have unique metabolic benefits. Start adding more into your routine and track towards a weekly target.
  • 💦 Water Intake: The amount of water consumed to maintain hydration.
  • 🧘 Mindful time: Time you spend through meditation, deep breathing, or focused attention to enhance mental clarity and well-being.

Habit Loops is also signified by the dots on your Today page. You'll see these dots every time you change your habit goals.


How do I set it up?

  1. To set your habit loops, tap on the gray Habit Loops view, then tap the See Habits button.
  2. Select three Habit Loops that you would like to hit each day.
  3. See how you’re tracking towards your daily Habit Loops on the homepage of your Levels app.

How do I customize Habit Loops targets?

  1. Tap on the habit you want to customize.
  2. Use the minus and plus signs to decrease or increase the target for that habit.
  3. Tap “Save changes” once done.
