Getting started for Core & Complete members
This article covers what to do next after joining Levels Core or Levels Complete, and where to look for updates.
Where to check progress
You can track your milestones and find updates in the Member Portal: Your Journey If you have questions at any point, email the Levels team at support@levels.com.
Getting started (Core + Complete)
Follow these steps to get set up.
- Download and log into the Levels app
- iOS levels.link/ios
- Android levels.link/android
- Apply your biosensor (CGM)
Levels’ primary biosensor is Stelo by Dexcom.
- If you’re using Stelo, set up the Stelo app so your readings can flow into Levels.
- Using a different CGM? Check your Levels app settings or email support@levels.com for setup help.
- Complete your health history
Make sure you fill out your health history here: https://app.levels.com/account/profile
- Schedule and complete your labs
Use the Labs page to schedule your appointment and complete your lab draw:
https://app.levels.com/home/labs/results
- If you’re a woman with a cycle, consider scheduling labs during the early follicular phase (days 1–7) for a more consistent baseline.
- Start your 28-day baseline
For the next 28 days, you’ll:
- Log food consistently (our best tips are found here)
- Collect glucose data from your biosensor
What happens next?
Milestone 1: Get set up
You’ve downloaded the app, applied your biosensor, and completed your health history.
Milestone 2: Complete your baseline (28 days)
You’ve completed 28 days of food logging and glucose data collection, and completed your labs.
Milestone 3: Receive your program recommendation
You’ll receive your program recommendation after:
- Your labs are completed, and
- You’ve completed 28 days of food logging and glucose data collection.
You’ll find your recommendation and clinician notes in the Member Portal.
(Complete only) Functional Nutritionist session
After your baseline is complete and your clinician note is ready, you’ll book a 50-minute 1:1 session with a functional nutritionist. They will review your glucose data, food logs, and labs ahead of time, then help translate your results into clear next steps. Learn more here.
Milestone 4: Re-test and refine
You’ll complete follow-up labs later in your journey, typically recommended around the ~5 month mark. A clinician will review your updated results and share next-step guidance in the Member Portal.
Common questions
I completed labs. Why don’t I have a program recommendation yet?
Your program recommendation is sent after both requirements are met: completed labs and 28 full days of food logging + glucose data. If you believe you’ve completed both, email support@levels.com.
Where should I go if I have questions about my results or recommendations?
Start in the Member Portal, then email support@levels.com if anything is unclear. Keep in mind that our support team cannot offer diagnoses or medical advice based on your results.
