Paying with HSA or FSA (TrueMed)
You can use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to pay for Levels through our partnership with TrueMed.
How to get your Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN)
- Start the TrueMed eligibility survey here.
- Complete the survey.
- If approved, TrueMed will email your LMN.
- Timing: LMNs are typically delivered within 2–5 hours (check spam/junk if you do not see it). If you are unable to locate your LMN, email support@truemed.com.
How to pay for Levels using HSA/FSA funds
Option 1: Pay with HSA/FSA at checkout (recommended)
- Add your membership or products to your cart at levels.com.
- At the payment step, select TrueMed as your payment option.
- Complete the quick eligibility survey to confirm HSA/FSA eligibility.
- Enter your HSA/FSA card details and complete your purchase.
If you do not have enough HSA/FSA funds, you may be able to split the payment between an HSA/FSA card and a credit card.
Option 2: Submit for reimbursement
- Purchase Levels using your regular credit or debit card.
- Complete the TrueMed eligibility survey to get your LMN (if you don't already have one).
- Submit your receipt and LMN to your HSA/FSA administrator for reimbursement.
- Reimbursement timing varies by administrator.
Note: TrueMed is for qualified customers, and HSA/FSA tax savings vary by plan. Learn more here.
What if I already purchased Levels?
You can still request reimbursement:
- Complete the TrueMed eligibility survey to get your LMN.
- Submit your receipt and LMN to your HSA/FSA administrator.
Common questions
How long is my LMN valid?
LMNs are typically valid for 12 months after they are issued.
Do I need to take the TrueMed survey every time I make a purchase?
If you already received an LMN for purchasing from a merchant and it is still valid, you typically do not need to complete the survey again. You may still need to submit your receipt for reimbursement with your administrator.
What if my reimbursement is rejected by my administrator?
Email TrueMed at support@truemed.com to help troubleshoot your issue. HSA/FSA plan administrators often have detailed requirements, so it may be as simple as re-issuing your Letter of Medical Necessity using the administrator's form.
