How to Edit an Existing Log Entry

This article walks you through how to edit an Activity log, a Meal log, a Note, or a LifeStyle log in your Levels app.
In this Article:
How to Edit a Log
- Open the Levels App on your phone
- From your Today page (1), select the day you created the log (2) and scroll down to your Timeline to find the log you'd like to edit and tap on it (3)
- If It's an exercise log, tap on the 3-dots icon (1) and select "Edit Log" (2).
You will now have the option to edit the following fields:
- Description (1)
- Start time (2)
- End time (2)
- Mark the activity as 'Strenuous' so it doesn't affect your Metabolic Score (3)
- Tap "Save" when you're done editing your log
- You can also remove the log completely by tapping on the trash icon on the top right

If it's a meal log, tap on the 3-dots icon (1) and select "Edit meal" (2):
You will now have the option to edit the following fields:
- Title of the meal (1)
- Start time (2)
- Add an item using one of the menu options (3)
- Tap on the 3-dots icon (4) to open the menu to change serving, search the database to explore ingredients or search for alternatives, duplicate or remove the item.
- Tap "Save meal" on the top right to save the changes
- You can also remove the log completely by tapping on the trash icon on the top left

If it's a note, tap on the 3-dots icon (1) and select "Edit log" (2):
You will now have the option to edit the following fields:
- Description (1)
- Start time (2)
- If you originally didn't have a photo logged, you can add a photo by clicking the photo icon (3)
- If you did have a photo logged and you want to change it, simply tap the photo to remove it and include a new one (3)
- Tap "Done" to save the changes
- You can also remove the log completely by tapping on the trash icon on the top right

If it's a Lifestyle log, tap directly on the log on your timeline (1):
You will now have the option to edit the following fields:
- Description (1)
- Start time (2)
- Mark the "ignore glucose?" feature (3), so your readings during this period are not considered in your daily score.
- Tap "Save" when you're done with your changes
- You can also remove the log completely by tapping on the trash icon on the top right
- If It's an exercise log, tap on the 3-dots icon (1) and select "Edit Log" (2).
Outcome:
When you complete the instructions above, the log you edited should be updated to your liking.
