How to Sync Your Health Data with Levels
Connecting Apple Health or Health Connect lets Levels pull in health data like activity, sleep, and weight so your timeline has more context.
What you can sync
Depending on your device, Levels can sync things like:
- Steps and workouts
- Sleep
- Weight
- Heart rate
- Other health signals supported by your phone
Before you begin
- Make sure you are signed into the Levels app
- Update the Levels app to the latest version
- Keep Bluetooth and an internet connection on during setup
Connect on iPhone (Apple Health)
- Open the Levels app
- Go to Settings
- Tap Connect Apple Health
- When prompted, tap Turn On All or enable the specific categories you want to share
- Tap Allow
Connect on Android (Health Connect)
- Open the Levels app
- Go to Settings
- Tap Connect Health Connect
- Follow the prompts to install or open Health Connect
- Choose which data types to share with Levels, then tap Allow
Confirm it is working
- Wait a few minutes for the first sync
- Check your timeline for new entries like workouts or sleep
If you do not see anything right away, try force closing and reopening the app.
Troubleshooting
I do not see the connect option
- Update Levels to the newest version
- Restart the app
My data is not syncing
- Make sure Levels has permission in Apple Health or Health Connect
- Check that your phone is online
- On Android, confirm the data source app (for example, Google Fit) is writing data into Health Connect
