Effortlessly track your energy with Levels Check-ins
📋 New Feature: Energy Check-In
💡 Overview:
How you feel matters. While glucose data reveals what’s happening in your body, it doesn’t always explain why you feel tired, wired, or off. That’s why we created the Energy Check-In, a fast and intuitive way to log how you're feeling and give your data the context it needs to truly work for you.
Stay engaged, informed, and energized! Effortlessly track your energy and uncover trends with Levels Check-ins.
📅 Release Date: June 2025
Why This Feature Exists
Your health journey isn’t just about numbers. It’s about how you experience your day. Energy crashes, restless nights, post-meal slumps, or surprising bursts of clarity all hold valuable clues. But without a way to track those patterns, it’s easy to miss them.
The Energy Check-In helps you:
- Connect the dots between how you feel and what you eat, how you sleep, and how you move
- Reflect on your day without overthinking it
- Add clarity to your glucose and metabolic data for better decision-making
How does Energy Check-In work?
Step 1: Update Your App
Make sure you're on the latest version of the Levels app to access the feature.
Step 2: Head to the Today Page
You’ll see a check-in banner appear at the top of your screen:
“How would you rate your energy right now?”
Tap to choose from five emoji-style ratings, from low to high energy.
Step 3: (Optional) Add a Note
Quickly log what’s going on. For example:
- “Slept 4 hours”
- “Feeling anxious before a meeting”
- “Boosted after walking outside”
These notes are entirely optional, but they help build a richer, more personalized view over time.
When Do Check-Ins Appear?
Check-ins pop up automatically a few times per day. There’s no pressure to respond. You can check in as often (or as little) as you like! The goal is to build self-awareness, not stress.
What happens with your Check-Ins?
Your responses are saved and used to:
- Reveal patterns around energy dips, mood shifts, and your routine
- Complement your glucose data with emotional and behavioral context
- Power more personalized insights and future in-app reports
💡 Pro Tip
Try logging after meals, workouts, or whenever you feel a noticeable shift in energy. Over time, your check-ins will help highlight what’s working (and what’s not).
