How to Log a Lifestyle Event

This article provides an overview of how to log a Lifestyle event on your Levels app.

Lifestyle events like a cold plunge or a sauna session can have an impact on your glucose levels. By creating a lifestyle log, you can keep track of those variations and receive feedback and insights from the Levels app to raise your metabolic awareness.


How to Log a Lifestyle Event:

  1. In the Levels app, select the green plus (+) button at the bottom of the screen.
    • If you only see the two meal log options, tap “See more options” to reveal the full logging menu, then select "Lifestyle".
  2. In the logging screen, enter a description of the Lifestyle event (1).
  3. Tap on the date field (2) to set the start and stop times of the lifestyle event (3).
    • Levels sets a minimum duration of 15 minutes.
    • If you do not add an end time, the entry will default to 15 minutes.
  4. Tap on “Update” (4).
  5. (Optional) Mark the "ignore glucose" feature so that glucose variations caused by this lifestyle event don't affect your stability score (5).

  6. (Optional) Tap on the camera icon if you’d like to add a picture (6).
  7. Select Save (7).
