CA and FL: How do I get a referral for Season Health?

I live in CA or FL—how do I get a referral to see a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) through the Levels <> Seasn Health partnership?

Answer: 

If you live in California or Florida and want to use your insurance to cover your visit with a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN), a referral from your Primary Care Provider (PCP) to Season Health is required.

This is a state-specific insurance requirement. You can still access services without a referral, but you may need to pay out of pocket if one isn’t provided.

Here's how to get started:

  1. Ask your PCP to submit a referral by:
  2. Season will follow up with you: Once Season receives your referral, they’ll email you a link to sign up.
  3. After signing up: You can connect your Levels account in the Season dashboard under: Account → Your Metrics → Link my Levels account

  • Insurance caveats:
    • Coverage varies by insurance provider and plan. Learn more here
