How to Add Weight Data
Tracking weight helps you see long-term trends alongside your glucose data and understand how changes in habits or Programs affect your progress.
How weight gets into Levels
Levels can show weight data from:
- Apple Health (iPhone)
- Health Connect (Android)
If your scale or tracking app saves weight into one of these platforms, Levels can import it and display it in the app.
Sync weight automatically
If you already track weight in Apple Health or Health Connect:
- Open the Levels app.
- Go to Settings.
- On iPhone, tap Connect Apple Health.
- On Android, tap Connect Health Connect.
- When asked for permissions, turn on Weight (or tap Turn On All).
- Wait a few minutes, then check your Timeline for weight entries.
As long as your scale or app is writing weight into Apple Health or Health Connect, new measurements should appear in Levels automatically.
Add weight manually
If you are not syncing from another app, or you need to update your weight:
- Open the Levels app.
- Tap More.
- Tap Settings.
- Under Account & Profile, tap Personal Information.
- In the upper-right corner, tap Edit.
- Update your weight.
- Tap Next, then Save.
Troubleshooting
My weight is not syncing
- Confirm your scale or tracking app is saving weight into Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android).
- Make sure Weight is enabled in sharing permissions for Levels.
- Give it a few minutes after syncing, then reopen the Levels app.
If you still don’t see weight entries, you can update your weight manually so your trends stay complete.
