How to Log a Meal, Activity, or Note:
- In the Levels app, select the plus (+) button at the bottom of the screen.
- Select Meal, Exercise, or Note depending on the log you want to enter.
For Meal logs, you have several ways to log your meal: AI Describe, Photo, Barcode Scanning, Search, Recent, or Custom.
- AI Describe: Tell the app about your meal, and it logs the nutrients for you.
- AI Photo Detection: This feature allow you to take a photo of your meal, and AI will analyze and create a macronutrient log for you.
- Barcode Scanning: Scan a food item's barcode for instant logging.
- Manual Search: Use our database to find and log specific foods.
- Recent Meals: Quickly log foods from your meal history.
- Custom Food Entry: Manually log unique meals or recipes.
For Exercise logs:
- Write a brief description of your exercise
- Tap the clock icon to confirm the Start Time (you can also edit the End Time).
- Mark your exercise as Strenuous if you don’t want the glucose spike caused by it to affect your score. See instructions here.
- Select Save.
For Note logs:
- If adding a note, simply enter something that you are interested in to see if it has an impact on your glucose levels.
- Select Save.

- What do I use Notes for? You may notice that unexpected events impact your glucose. Examples include: stress, supplements like vitamin C, pain relievers like aspirin, and even some skincare products. Logging these events can help you make connections about how these events affect your glucose.
