Where Levels is Available

Levels is currently available in the United States only. The Levels app, Stelo continuous glucose monitor, and Levels Labs are each subject to United States regulations and geographic restrictions. App access, sensor access, and lab access have different requirements, so clearing one does not automatically unlock the others.

Where Levels is available in the United States

Levels is currently available in all 50 US states and the following US territories:

  • Puerto Rico
  • Guam*
  • US Virgin Islands*

*Not available for purchasing a Stelo Biosensor

Levels Labs availability

Levels Labs biomarker testing can be purchased in all 50 states. Lab draws must be completed in the United States at the lab partner assigned to your order. If you live in a US territory, you can usually purchase a panel, but you may need to travel to one of the 50 states (or another eligible Quest location) to complete the draw.

For state-by-state lab partner details and travel-required locations, see Where Levels Labs is Available and Where to Get Your Blood Drawn.

Requirements to use Levels

To use Levels, you need:

  • A US shipping address
  • Access to the US App Store (iOS) or US Google Play Store (Android)
  • A US phone number
  • Physical presence in the United States to set up and use the Stelo sensor

App access, Stelo access, and lab access

These are separate layers of the product. Each has its own geographic limits.

Levels app

The Levels app is only published on the US App Store and US Google Play Store. It cannot be downloaded from an international app store account. Setup also requires a US phone number. Membership is software access and does not by itself include sensors or labs.

Stelo biosensor

Stelo is approved for use in the United States only. Levels can only ship sensors to a US shipping address, and we cannot export sensors internationally. Device registration and first-time setup generally need to happen while you are in the United States (including a US network location). Once a sensor is applied and working, it should continue working while you travel abroad.

If a sensor fails while you are outside the United States, Levels cannot ship a replacement internationally. Replacements can only go to a US address on file (for example, your home address or someone who can receive the package for you). Pack backup sensors in your carry-on when you travel.

Levels Labs

Lab panels must be drawn in the United States at an eligible partner location for your order. Levels Labs is not available internationally. You will need an active US address and phone number to purchase.

International availability

Levels is not currently available outside of the United States. We use biosensors that are only approved for use inside the United States, and we cannot export them to other countries due to device regulations and geolocation restrictions.

Because of this, we do not recommend purchasing Levels if you live outside of the United States or will be using Levels primarily outside the United States.

There is also no app-only offering for people on international phones or international app store accounts, even if you already have a local CGM.

What if I have a US address?

A US shipping address is required, but it is not enough on its own. You still need:

  • US App Store or US Google Play access
  • A US phone number
  • To complete Stelo setup in the United States
  • To complete any Levels Labs draws in the United States

Signup, the website quiz, and device registration may use use your network location. Completing the quiz from outside the US, or on a non-US IP address, can still route you to the international waitlist even if you select United States or try a different email.

US members traveling internationally

If you are a current US-based member traveling abroad:

  • Apply and pair your Stelo sensor in the United States before you leave when you can
  • Bring extra sensors in your carry-on luggage
  • Your active sensor should continue working normally abroad; keep Bluetooth on and use cellular data or Wi‑Fi for the apps
  • The Levels app may place you on the waitlist based on your location while you are overseas
  • We cannot ship sensor replacements or new orders outside the United States
  • Levels Labs draws still must be completed in the US

For airport security, flying, and customs tips, see Traveling with a Stelo Biosensor.

Is there a workaround for international use?

If you live outside the United States or will use Levels primarily outside the United States: No. There is no workaround we recommend. Changing your app store region or using a VPN will not give you full access to the Levels experience, and we do not recommend purchasing in that situation.

If you are a US-based member temporarily traveling overseas and the site, quiz, or registration is treating you as international because of your location or IP address, try these steps in order:

  1. Open the flow in a private/incognito window, or try a different browser
  2. Clear cookies and cached site data for levels.com, then try again
  3. Try again when you are physically back in the United States
  4. If you still need access while traveling and you already meet the US requirements above, a US-based VPN can sometimes help with location or IP routing for signup or registration

A VPN does not replace the core requirements (US shipping address, US phone number, US app store access, US Stelo setup, and US-only shipping and labs). It is only a possible help for temporary travel geo-blocks, not a way to use Levels as a non-US resident.
